On behalf of the Rosemont Schools PTA I'd like to introduce myself and welcome you all to our amazing school! My name is Melissa Love Tristan and I am going into my second year as President of the PTA. I have a son named Luca who is in Third Grade. Mine is a proud Rosemont Bison family, and we are PROUD TO BE PUBLIC!

Rosemont PTA members pride ourselves on being extremely active on behalf of our school, our staff, our students, and our community. We are the primary source of fundraising for the school, and every cent we raise goes back to the school to help enrich our students' academic careers and help our staff provide the best possible learning environment for our children. Our financial records are open for public review at any time (please contact the Treasurer if you would like to review our books.) We work very hard to ensure that all of our fundraising is done through events for our community or services provided for our families. Our biggest fundraisers annually are our BooBash Carnival and our Raffle. We also sell school supply packs that families may purchase for the upcoming school year, we host two book fairs (Fall and Spring), and we sell Rosemont Bison Spirit gear. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor of the PTA please contact me!

Outside of our fundraising efforts, we also host many school-wide events that are completely free to attend. These include the Holiday Hayride, Father/Daughter Dance, Family Picnic, and Heritage Day. We also partner with our SBDM group to host academic activity nights which include Math Night, Literacy Night and Science Night.

At Rosemont, we place strong emphasis on educating the whole child. Thus, we maintain a strong focus on our fine and performing arts programs. All students at both campuses rotate weekly between Fine Art, Dance, Music, Computer and Gym. We also partner every year with our RECPTA partners and the Dallas Children's Theater to have instructors from Dallas Children's Theater come to our campuses and spend a week with each grade to teach our students the art of stage acting.

  • Here is some information that will help you make this year the best it can be:

I am so excited to see what this year holds in store for our students! Thank you for being a part of our Rosemont family!
